The Strong woman
We have written on this site a topic,”The strong man,” but what is there to learn of a strong woman? Does the Bible ,”the Word of God” address such a woman? Yes, it does. There is not an issue in life that the council of God doesn’t address.
Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulders: and his name shall be called, Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”.
Does anyone even consider that, if men and women are the creation of the Almighty God, then would He not have sent an instruction Manual along with His creation? Have you examined the instruction Manual of your new car? How about your washing machine? If men do these things naturally, do you think that God didn’t send along with His creation an instruction Manuel, even before the automobile and washing machine were ever invented? His instruction manual is called the Bible. But have they read it?
All those who are drawn to the God of the Bible are called as a woman, Isaiah 54:6. Why does God, although we are men and women, calls us all as a woman? Why? Because we all, men as well as women, have the potential of becoming the bride of Christ, Revelation 19:7.
Those in and of the world do whatsoever they want and live however they desire but the scriptures say to us:
1st John, 2:17, “And the world passeth away and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.”
Yes, the world is passing away but there are too many people that don’t know or understand that fact. We who are not of the world understand that one of the major ingredients missing in this earth age is submission, not someone bossing you around, or lording it over you but submitting one to another in the order that God has ordained. If Christ is the bridegroom, then we, being His potential wife, need to learn the lesson of submission. The body of Christ, His wife, will learn to submit to her husband, the bridegroom. This is the lesson almost never practiced and taught in this earth age, the lesson of submitting to one another.
Genesis 3:16, Unto the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shall bring forth children; and thy desire shall be for thy husband and he shall rule over thee.
That is a law that has been in place from the very beginning.
Recently I received an e-mail from a woman and it reads like this:
“Well, my Dad loved and lived with my Mom, my sister and me and we all are strong responsible women.”
Does it seem as though any of these “strong responsible women” have learned the lesson of submission?
1st Corinthians 11:3, “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God.”
The Dad above had three strong responsible women to contend with. The Bible councils us of a new godly nature of women. The subdoing of a strong woman to a righteous woman can only occur with the growth and the mingling of our spirit with God’s Spirit, John 16:7.
1st Peter 3:1, “Likewise ye wives, be in submission to your own husbands; that if any obey not the word, they, without the word be won by the conversation of the wives.” 4, ” But let it be the hidden (wo)man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which, in the sight of God of great price.”
Those who live in the world and are recipients of the teaching of the world can not understand the statement in verse 4. It is foreign to them. If they don’t have the opportunity to learn it now in this earth age, they will learn it in the future.
Genesis 2:24, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh.”
This command is of vital importance to the new way of peace and harmony and emphasize the role of the older women:
Titus 2:4, “That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5, to be discreet, chaste keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the Word of God be not blasphemed.”
In marriage, two carnal minded people come together and the two become one and live their lives independly unto the order and godly submission of one to another.
Psalms 81:15, The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto Him: But their time should have endured forever.
This submitting principle applies to all people inside marriage as well as to others.
1st Peter 2:13, “Submit yourselves to every ordinances of man for the Lords sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 14, or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of them that do well. 15, For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men”.
The 15th verse above is written to women, wives, men and all others. No one in this 2nd earth age is a 2nd class citizen needing to have any man rule over us.
Ecclesiastes 8:9, “All this I have seen and applied my heart unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man rule over another to his own hurt”.
When God rules, and the will of men is eliminated, the understanding of submission to one another will bring order and peace. Opinions and arguing will disappear. This is the council and authority of our crearor God who put all things in place. His will is that those who are married live in peace and harmony, and children are submissive to their parents. Women are especially admonished to prepare their children to be the next generation of godly citizens. Whether you are part of a social club or a union member, living in a peaceful way is of God through the submission of all men. Everyone is of the authority and submission to someone else as long as God rules.
The Strong Woman And the Church
Genesis 2:18, And the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him”.
God needed to make a suitable companion for Adam, one who would be separate from Adam and grow unto the two becoming one flesh. This is the desire of God and called a great mystery.
Ephesians 5:31, “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32, This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
When we take a look at the churches that are in the world, are they one? If they are one why are there so many denominations? Did Christ need the help of men to build His church, Matthew 16:18? The word denomination means to divide or division. Will Christ, as a bridegroom, marry all the denominations which exist? God lives by the same rules that He directs His people. 1st Timothy 3:2, breaking into the verse we read, “the husband of one wife.” Judge for yourself, have these denominations submitted themselves to the ordinances of God and made themselves ready for a wedding, Revelation 19:7
Matthew 12:30, He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathered not with Me scattereth abroad.
If Christ and those who are joined with Christ gather, then who is it that scattereth? The answer is obvious.
Are they submisive to the builder of the church? Is Jesus Christ building a suitable companion for himself, or, are the denominations, so called church’s, growing independently because of the leadership of men? It was said earlier in this article that we are all called as a woman. Even the men spoken of here will eventual be wives who will be submissive to Christ as the husband. Also the men, women, and children who make up the congregations will submit to one another as God has ordained and peace and harmony will triumph over the divisive nature of the denominations.
