The Middle East / Nation Called Israel/ And It’s Present Turmoil

Israel has been a nation since 1948. Many religious leaders say that the people who occupy the region are God’s chosen people and are the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They claim Abraham as their father, yet, instead of being blessed, they are actually fighting for their lives. A little back ground information is necessary to understand the history of those occupying the region, called by many, the holy land.

Before Abraham’s name was changed from Abram to Abraham, God made him a promise.

Genesis 12:2, And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great; and thou shall be a blessing: verse 3, And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that cursed thee, and in thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

If God’s word be true, where is the blessing of the nation and the families?  The Jewish or Zionist people  claim to be Israel, the offspring of the fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, but where is their blessing?

The Promise of The Birthright,(Fruitfulness) And The Dominion Mandate.

Genesis 1:31, tells us man was created male and female and made of earthy material. God said, ” it was very good”. God is always glorified in the heavens, but His purpose was to be glorified in the earth as well. We are also created with the earthy material, thereby, we are  little earths. At the time, when man was very good, verse 26 says he was to have the dominion mandate, meaning to rule. And in verse 28 he was to be fruitful, meaning his family would increase in the likeness and image of God. Of course, these commands were given before the downfall of man in the Garden of Eden, and had the Tree of Life closed off to him. Adam did pass down both mandates to his progeny without the ruler ship and Godly image as God had intended.

Now the human race became unlawful and were subject to a death penalty. God had to now provide another way for the Birthright and dominion blessings to be brought about.

That way would be through Abram, who by faith, had a name change as well as his wife Sari, to Abraham and Sarah. They were to receive a son called Isaac, because of a promise of God. The story is found in Genesis 16. The story tells us of the lack of patience of Abraham and Sarah because they tried, unsuccessfully, to bring about the promise of God through their own effort, giving birth to Ishmael. Eventually, Isaac was born to them fulfilling God’s promise. Isaac and his wife Rebecca, were to give birth to twins, Esau and Jacob. The struggle for the birthright started while the twins were in the womb of Rebecca.

Genesis 25:23,  And the Lord said unto her, “Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

The Apostle Paul add more to the story.

Romans 9:11, “For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God, according to election might stand, not of works, but of Him that calleth“.

        Jacob’s cunning Sale

Scripture says that Esau was a hunter and Jacob was a plain man and that Isaac loved the venison hunted by Esau but Rebecca loved Jacob.

Genesis 25:30, And Esau said to Jacob, “feed me, I pray thee, with that same pottage, for I am faint:” 31, and Jacob said, “Sell me this day thy birthright.” 32, And Esau said, “behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright be to me.” 33, And Jacob said, “Swear to me this day;” and he swore unto him: and he sold him his birthright. 34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

Although it sounds like a legitimate sale, It was not.

Leviticus 25:14, and if thou sell ought unto thy neighbor, or byest ought of thy neighbor’s hand, ye shall not oppress one another.

Jacob’s lentil soup for the birthright is what’s called today as good business, buying low and selling high, or price gouging.  If Jacob was to get the birthright, it would need to be done lawfully, and not by means of the flesh. Jacob tried to help God in obtaining the birthright just as Abraham and Sarah, with the help of Hagar, tried to bring forth the promised son.

Rebecca And Jacob Steal Esau’s Identity

In Genesis 27, we read where Isaac is old, his eyes are dim, and he is going to pass the birthright down to his firstborn son, Esau. Rebecca hears of Isaac’s blessing upon the oldest son and helps Jacob get the blessing intended for Esau.

Genesis 27:19, And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy firstborn. 28, Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine: let the people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that cursed thee, and bless be thee that bless thee.

Esau hears that his birthright blessing was passed on to Jacob and is very upset.

Genesis 27:36, And he (Esau) said, “Is he not rightly named Jacob? for he had supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright and now he has taken away my blessing”.

The only way Jacob could get away with a stunt like this was because of the blindness of Isaac. When Esau and Isaac realized what had happened, Isaac stated a prophesy for Esau’s comfort.

Genesis 27:39, And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, “Behold, thy dwelling shall be away from the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above: 40, And by thy sword shall thou live, and shall serve thy brother; and it shall come to pass, when thou shall have the dominion, that thou shall break his yoke from off thy neck.

The promises of God will only be fulfilled lawfully. The workings of the flesh, or by any other means, without God’s spirit, will never be accepted. Isaac knew that there will come a day when, the blessing Jacob thought he had, will have to go back to it’s rightful owner, Esau. Rebecca as well as Jacob knew that the first born, Esau, should receive the birthright blessing.

During the forties, aggression started to escalate in the middle east, because Jacob had to release his hold on the neck of those who wanted control of the area.  British troops, called Union Jack, were trying to keep the peace but to no avail. The escalation of gangs grew throughout the region, and the Union Jack Army had to leave. These were British soldiers trying to keep the peace in and around Jerusalem. The Hebrew meaning of the word British when broken down is Brit, meaning Covenant , and ish meaning man. Those who were being forced out of the area were the people of the covenant, Exodus 2:24. In 1948, the United Nations acknowledged the existence of Israel as a state.

This again is mistaken identity. Just as Isaac was blind when Jacob stole Esau’s birthright, the world and especially the churches,  should know the Biblical story, and the perpetrated fraud by Rebecca and Jacob.

It is up to the people, if they are truly Israel to bring forth the fruit worthy of the dominion and fruitfulness  mandate. As of this time, there has only been bloodshed.

The churches are right concerning God’s people gathering back to the Holy Land. Their returning is set upon God’s condition.

Leviticus 26, 40, “If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that they have walked contrary unto me; 41, And that I have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their inequity: 42, Then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember, and I will remember the land.”

Those who are presently occupying the middle east, and call themselves God’s people Israel, need to have their blindness removed, hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and repent. The Apostle Peter, before his conversion, in his defense of Jesus, cut off the ear of a servant of the high priest. Jesus rebuked Peter. John 18:10

Matthew 26:52, Then Jesus said unto him, ” put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take up the sword shall perish by the sword.”
